Wei brings over 20 years of core database research and development experience to Splice Machine. Prior to Splice Machine, Wei led a team at LinkedIn to create the next generation distributed graph database to help realize the company's economic graph vision. He also spent over 11 years at Teradata in engineering management and software
development to focus on the industry-leading cost-base query optimizer. Wei holds a PhD degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Alberta in Canada and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Peking University in China.
