Wei Garofolo, BEng, MBA is a meeting planner and coordinator for two nonprofit organizations in analytical and bioanalytical sciences. Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and highly organized, Wei interacts with professionals from universities, regulatory agencies, pharmaceutical companies and CROs to plan and execute events.
Wei Garofolo has
co-authored many publications in the bioanalytical sciences, including article "Global Outsourcing," (for which she was a main author), "Recommendations on Incurred Sample Stability (ISS) by GCC," and "Recommendations on Biomarker Bioanalytical Validation by GCC," all of which were published in Future Science.
Wei began her career as a system analyst and programmer at Ingenia Polymers and then took her first Coordinator job at Algorithme Pharma. From then on, she knew she wanted to focus on organizing communications and interactions in the broader bioanalytical community.
Through her job Wei Garofolo has had the opportunity to travel around the world and attend conferences and meetings. She also enjoys traveling for recreation and she has explored parts of Europe. She is currently in Rome, Italy, where she's immersing herself in the culture and trying new foods whenever she can.
