Wei Du is a business presenter with Channel NewsAsia. She co-hosts Asia Connect, a one-hour programme that is broadcast “live” out of Singapore’s financial district with the latest news and business developments from its network of correspondents in the Asian region. She also provides the hourly business news updates, keeping viewers informed
throughout the day on the channel.
Wei Du had also hosted the channel’s business reality show, Invest in Me, and Asian Market Report.
Before joining Channel NewsAsia, Wei Du worked as a reporter for Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. Her career in broadcasting started after graduating from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where she joined CNBC at its global headquarters in the U.S.
Wei Du is a native of the Chinese city of Chongqing.
