Wee Liat started his career as a research engineer for NUS, working on the problem of solving the last mile navigation using geographical information systems and mobile devices. He was also actively involved in integrating, innovating and delivering open source software as a solution to small businesses.
Wee Liat believes in leveraging
technology instead of re-inventing the wheel, and maintaining the right balance of speed and stability in his implementations. He is also a hardware hacker and tinkers with various gadgets to build effective "DIY" solutions with real user benefits.
Wee Liat received his Computer Engineering degree from National University of Singapore.
