Wayne joined the Bonavista team in July 2002 as a Senior Geologist. In April 2007, Wayne was promoted to Exploration Manager responsible for Bonavista’s Western region and then in December 2011, was promoted to his current position of Vice President of Exploration. Wayne's responsibilities include overseeing Bonavista’s exploration and
development operations.
He began his 32 year oil and gas career at the ERCB, followed by roles of increased responsibility as a key prospect generator at Westmin Resources, Amerada Hess Canada, Harbour Petroleum, Lexxor Energy, and Petromet Resources.
Wayne graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1982 with a Diploma in Petroleum Technology (Geology).
