Wayne Lynch started his career with the HJ Heinz Company as a Territory sales manager in Western MA, was promoted to District Sales assistant in Hartford, CT, Area Manager in Cleveland, OH and Division Manager in Detroit, MI. Wayne then moved to Buffalo, NY to manage distribution for Wine Merchants, LTD with responsibility for the Rochester, NY
distribution facility added to his responsibility. He then moved to Philadelphia, PA to head up the first test sales district for Wise Foods, a division of Borden Foods. His assignment in Philadelphia was to build a sales district that would support tripling the current sales force. After successfully building profits to support the increased sales personnel, he was promoted to Division Manager in the Central Region to implement the increased sales personnel program regionally, and then as National Sales Manager. Wayne then joined Mid Florida Mining Company, a producer of cat litter, as VP of Sales and Marketing, where he increased sales of its private label brands and successfully introduced branded products. During this period Wayne opened and managed packaging plants in South Carolina and New Jersey in addition to the original facility in Lowell, Florida. He sold his interest in Mid Florida and started Pro Marketing, a consulting group to consumer product companies. Pro Marketing clients included Mid Florida Mining, Quinlin Pretzel and Royal Oak Charcoal. After a 5 year relationship with Royal Oak, Wayne joined the company as the Northeastern Regional Manager and opened a new sales office in the Boston area. He built the Royal Oak brand from little market share to over 20% of charcoal market sales and over 50% of lighter fluid sales. Wayne then Joined his brother Dean Lynch to start L&L Products, a snack food distribution company. After successfully transitioning L&L from company routes to independent routes and developing the sales team Lynch sold his interest to his brother and moved to South Carolina. He returned to Royal Oak to become the Eastern Business manager until his retirement from Royal Oak in 2017. Wayne was raised in Massachusetts, attended American International College on a baseball scholarship and graduated with a BS degree.
