As a Venture Partner at Altus, Ward brings over 20 years of sales and company leadership experience within the technology and software sectors of healthcare and enterprise solutions. Ward has held CEO and senior executive positions, managing domestic and international operations. He thrives on building and leading multi-functional teams that drive
disruptive solutions and innovation into new markets.
As a strategist and tactician, Ward has designed and executed numerous sales, marketing, and business development initiatives. He spent his early career working with larger organizations such as Picker, ATL Ultrasound, and Philips Medical—all focused on sales and alternate channels.
For the past 15 years, with new ventures like SonoSite, Confirma, and Carrot Medical, he led successful sales and marketing initiatives in coordination with designing and executing operations, finance, and capital strategies.
In entrepreneurial pursuits outside of medical technology, he has practiced in the media/entertainment industry, packaging, and financing independent films.
Ward has a BS in Biology from Pacific Union College. When he's not focused on his professional interests, he can be found flying a small plane somewhere in the skies above.
