With a degree in International Business from his home country of Brazil, Walter started working as an exporter with Stone Control Inc. right out of school. With more than a decade of experience in the logistics industry in both Brazil and the US, Walter met Matthew when the two were paired up as training partners in a Brazilian Martial Arts class.
The more the two trained together, the more they learned they had in common professionally. United by a shared goal to elevate the level of service in the shipping and logistics industry, the two training partners became business partners as well. To this day, Boa, which is Portuguese for good, uses martial arts as a guiding philosophy by adapting and anticipating future market needs as opposed to being knocked off guard by them.
