Successful entrepreneur from Santa Fe with over 20 years of experience in the financial market. His activities began 30 years ago setting up commercial structures for regional distribution (central, river basin regions and Mesopotamia) of general and life insurance policies.
With the coming of convertibility and the return of the consumer
credit to Argentina, he gradually redirected the distribution structure into the merchandising of consumer credits. This approach allowed him to establish trading agreements with different financial institutions, such as Interbonos, later transformed into Compañia Financiera Argentina (acquired by AIG in 1997), Banco del Sol, BI Creditanstalt, Columbia Compañia Financiera, Banco Velox S.A., Banco Piano, etc.
At the end of 2000, he began to focus on the recovery and management of socially-oriented enterprises, advising on the restructuring of different cooperatives and nonprofit organizations with a professional vision and supervision, consolidating them in 2001 with the creation of the Red Mutual brand. Under this brand and through Nexfin S.A., he has designed a solidarity and cooperation scheme among various socially-oriented enterprises, standardizing policies and procedures for consumer credit creation, enabling these entities to have access to finance their activities through the capital market.
The first Red Mutual Trust was the first experience of this kind in the Argentine market, being pioneer in the structuring of trusts based on consumer loans originated by such entities. The Red Mutual Trust has issued 45 series (whose structurer agent, co-convenor and placement agent is Bank Voii) and the FIDEBICA Trust, 44 series (in which Bank Voii participates as a substitute manager) with a AAA rating for the Argentine market.
From February 2014, after the authorization granted by the Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) for the acquisition of MBA Lazard Banco de Inversiones S.A., Walter Grenón has been named Chairman of the Board of Banco Voii S.A., new name of the entity from its transformation into a universal bank.

- the development of IT systems for third parties - Central system for discount authorizations to prevent workers from over indebtedness and avoid usurious financial margins
- the implementation and administration of a cutting edge technological platform that allows the provision of the developed systems to multiple companies that use them, distributed in different regions of the country
