Walter Chang has over 30 years of successful experience in enterprise software and e-business innovation. He is currently a Principal Scientist within the Imagination Lab at Adobe Systems. Walter was responsible for the development of a computational linguistics and text analytics system used by Adobe business units to address the needs of online
content publishers, marketers, advertisers, and creative professionals in the motion picture industry.
Walter was a W3C representative for Adobe and a contributor to RDF-Schema, an industry metadata standard for the Semantic Web. At Scient/Razorfish, Walter led the engineering team that developed Major League Baseball's Gameday visualization system, audio broadcast, and video streaming infrastructure that in 2005, 2006, and 2007 enabled MLB Advanced Media to generate respectively $236M, $317M, and $380M/year in revenue.
