After his business studies, Walter founded com.on AG in 1999 - a marketing consultancy firm, specializing in cross-channel marketing and synergizing data mining and e-commerce.
As founder and CEO of com.on he has been pioneering 1-to-1 marketing in
the Swiss and inter-national markets supporting several leading companies in their going online, e-commerce launches and CRM implementation.
Walter sold com.on to Interhome AG / Migros (the #1 retailer in Switzerland). He went on to become CMO at Interhome AG - The global leader for online holiday homes rentals with presence in 26 markets with over 250M revenue annually.
Walter studied at the Universities of Innsbruck (Austria), University of Liechtenstein and the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
