Vivek has over 25 years of experience in Silicon Valley, having worked across Fortune 500 companies (Hewlett-Packard, Intel Corporation and Cypress Semiconductor) as well as several Venture backed start-ups (Sequent Computer Systems, Lara Networks, Sierra Monolithics, Kasenna
and VuCast Inc).
Vivek started his career in RISC Microprocessor design & Parallel Computing as the Computer industry was taking off and has worked on successive generation of emerging technologies – Chips, Software, Networking, Internet, Wireless, and Video, as each technology realized phenomenal growth and became the new platform for next generation of innovation.
While Vivek has managed large teams of 100+ people, Vivek is a versatile executive who enjoys working with small teams of talented individuals to identify markets, define & build products, win customers & deliver high volume cost efficient solutions. Vivek has hands-on experience from early stages of a company starting with Series-A venture financing all the way to successful exit.
Vivek studied at BITS Pilani, India (BSEE’80); Virginia Tech (MSEE’82); and Stanford University, Graduate School of Business (SEP’95)
