Vivek Bansal is a Founder of seeDoc, which is India's fastest growing online medical consultation company.
Vivek brings more than 20 years of entrepreneurial, operational and executive management experience in building technology businesses globally. Vivek is also the founder of Plus Ventures which an early stage investment firm focused on
technology enabled products and services in sectors like Internet, Mobile and Consumer Services.
Previously, Vivek held various executive positions at Globespan where he was responsible for worldwide marketing, product development and corporate strategies. Under his leadership, the company went through an unprecedented level of growth—that saw the annualized revenues grow from less than $60 million to more than $400+ million and then company finally merged with Conexant, to form a $900 million world leader in the broadband semiconductor segment.
Prior to this, Vivek founded Ficon Technology, which became a leading system software product company for the leading networking and telecommunication global companies, which was then acquired by Globespan. Vivek also worked at NEC Research Laboratories, where he was part of the R&D team whose efforts led to the very inception of broadband and Internet technology.
Vivek holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Kansas State University and a BE degree in Computer Science from MS University.
