Vince Hunt is a founding member of the SHOP.COM team. As Chief Operating Officer, Hunt's focus is on optimizing the company's daily operations, including traffic acquisition and revenue generation, as well as longer-term strategic planning. Hunt previously oversaw all areas of engineering, including site operations, content management,
analytics and product development and is credited with the creation and expansion of SHOP.COM's technical platform. Hunt was promoted from Chief Technology Officer to Chief Operating Officer in February 2010.
Hunt has more than 20 years of experience in executive and technical positions. Before coming to SHOP.COM, he was vice president of Altura Software and held various technical roles for Apple, Touch Communications, Inc., and IBM, amongst others.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from University of California, Santa Cruz.
