Vinay Kumar is Sr. Director Product Management at Oracle, responsible for Oracle Infrastructure product strategy. He leads product teams focused on compute, storage, networking, database, security, and an expanding set of foundational services. He has wide range experience in building distributed systems, and specializes in building V1.0 products.
Before joining Oracle, he led product teams at Amazon S3 and EBS, where he built multiple new services including EBS GP2 and S3 IA. He has held various product management and engineering roles at Akamai, EMC, and Wipro. He holds MBA from Babson College, F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
