Vinodh Bhat is Co-Founder and President of Saavn. Vinodh has played a crucial role in developing the company’s purpose and vision, helping to recruit talented individuals to join the Saavn team, and lead its capital raises to finance growth. He leads the sales team in securing advertising partnerships with some of the world’s most recognized brands, such as Apple, Nissan, Microsoft and Bacardi.
Vinodh has been a recognized speaker at industry conferences around the world. He is also a Founding Partner at New York City-based venture development fund, 212MEDIA. Prior to Saavn and 212MEDIA, Vinodh co-founded and served as the VP, Sales & Business Development at Simile, a contextual advertising platform that advised the business units of Time Warner, Cox Media, McClatchy Newspaper Group, Scripps and Hearst Magazines. He began his career at the investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ), and helped advise and raise capital for media & telecom companies such as Voyager, Earthlink, AT&T, @Home, Akamai, and several others. Vinodh graduated with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He was an Echols Scholar.
