Victor Splittgerber is Co-Founder and CTO of Green City Solutions. He has studied mechanical engineering, focusing agricultural systems and work process planning. He gathered professional experience as project manager and university lecturer.
Having worked at home and abroad, he recognized the need for improving the air quality in hotspot areas
by urban elements. Thus he founded Green City Solutions to provide clean air in a profitable way. The other founders are Dénes Honus, Peter Sänger und Zhengliang Wu.
Green City Solutions was incorporated on the 25th March of 2014 and according to the Climate-KIC Venture Competition Europe it is one of the four best cleantech startups in Europe. The unique combination of expertise from architecture, informatics, engineering and horticulture enables the startup to develop sustainable solutions which, with the help of plants, can target and reduce air pollution, especially by fine dust or nitrous oxides. The first product is the CityTree which is able to display information via writings, pictures or QR-Code.
