Victor Sheverda is a Construction Project Manager working in the Greater Denver Area, where he leads a wide range of commercial projects from pre-construction through final closeout. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. He has earned the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification, a globally recognized
credential that affirms his ability to manage complex construction efforts with a structured methodology. His work reflects a potent blend of practical experience and formal training, allowing him to consistently deliver results that align with project goals, schedules, and budgets.
His entry into the construction industry began with early hands-on experience in his family’s company, which specialized in building custom spec homes using Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) technology. This method, known for its emphasis on sustainability and durability, had a lasting impact on his approach to building. ICF structures resist fire, pests, rot, and natural disasters while offering energy efficiency—a standard that continues influencing their professional decisions and project values.
He completed three summer internships with a major construction firm, gaining essential field experience on large-scale projects. These opportunities helped him build a solid foundation and transitioned him into full-time work in commercial construction. He started as a Project Engineer and later advanced to Assistant Project Manager at a respected general contractor in Colorado. In this role, he coordinates subcontractors, manages procurement, ensures contract compliance, and maintains effective communication with owners and stakeholders.
In addition to his conventional project management skills, he is certified in Agile methodology. This allows him to implement flexible project phases that accommodate evolving client needs while maintaining control over scope and resources. His ability to balance structure with adaptability makes him a valuable leader on projects with complex demands.
He spent part of his childhood in Hawaii, where he developed a strong appreciation for the environment. After moving to Colorado, he attended Cherokee Trail High School, where he earned four varsity letters in tennis and qualified multiple times for state and regional competitions. He initially pursued Civil Engineering but later transferred to Colorado State University, where he graduated with a 3.78 GPA. He was recognized as a Sigma Lambda Chi Honor Society member and frequently appeared on the Dean’s List.
During his academic years, he interned on notable projects, including Market Station, RidgeGate Campus, and the United States Capitol Building restoration—an experience he considers a key professional milestone. After graduation, he worked on the National Western Center Campus Energy project as a Project Engineer, contributing to North America's most extensive sewer-heat recovery system. He later served as a construction estimator, reviewing and developing comprehensive cost assessments. In 2022, he advanced to Assistant Project Manager, overseeing procurement and contract management on high-profile projects such as the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center.
Outside of his professional life, he maintains an active lifestyle through hiking, climbing Colorado’s 14ers, and engaging in physical activities such as Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, boxing, skiing, and weightlifting. He also supports environmental causes through involvement with a national wildlife organization and enjoys exploring history and nature through travel.
Victor Sheverda continues to apply his expertise, discipline, and values in every project he leads, bringing dependable leadership and a commitment to sustainable construction to the industry he serves.
