Vern Kelley is Intersil’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Kelley joined Intersil in February 2003 from National Semiconductor where he was Vice President of Human Resources for the product divisions. In his 19-year tenure at National, Mr. Kelley held a variety of leadership positions within human resources and oversaw HR activities
associated with National's acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture activities. His HR management experience includes development and implementation of performance management, success sharing, productivity improvement, and training and development programs. Before joining National in 1983, Mr. Kelley was a division employee relations manager for Allstate Insurance Company. Mr. Kelley earned a Master of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific. He is a recipient of the 2007 HR Symposium "HR Excellence" Award. He also served on the Board of Directors of the United Way Silicon Valley from 2005 to 2008.
