Venugopala Moorthy is the Head of IT for Jaleel Holdings. Headquartered in Dubai, Jaleel Holdings is an AED 1.3 billion top line company with strong presence in trading and distribution of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG). Jaleel Holdings owns Jaleel Cash & Carry (the largest FMCG wholesaler in the UAE), Jaleel Distribution and J Mart
supermarkets.
Having spent 12 years in different industries, Venugopala has developed a strong knack of empowering the workforce with latest technological advancements, thereby improving the productivity of multiple line of businesses. He has extremely strong resource allocation skills as well as the ability to develop situation reports that can be used to determine the future direction of company technology.
He recently migrated Jaleel Holdings' Applications to Cloud seamlessly. Successfully established a PMO from scratch and provided seasoned leadership to the technical operations staff, developed strategy for capacity planning of PMO resources. In addition to being an expert in devising Governance Framework and associated processes to improve operations &, manpower efficiency, he is also known for his strong communication, team coordination and leadership skills. With demonstrated ability to articulate technical issues and implement emerging trends in the industry intelligently.
