Uri Rubinstein joined Adama India in January 2018 as CEO. Starting his career as a cotton grower in Kibutz Mishmar-David, he put in more than 30 years of rich experience holding various key positions and ranks in both private & public sectors.
Prior to joining Adama, he served as VP Business Development at NutriAg Ltd., Canadian-American
Company specialized in foliar feeding fertilizers.
Before the NutriAg assignment Uri served as the Agricultural counsellor at the Israeli Embassy in Delhi. As a counsellor, Uri played a major role in the implementation of the Indo-Israeli action plan by establishing "Agricultural Centres of Excellence" in 10 states of India.
Earlier to that Uri served as General Manager at Agrica, a leading importer, and formulator of plant protection products in Israel.
Uri also served as a regional entomologist at the Israeli Agricultural Extension Service and stayed at the UN FAO headquarter in Rome as Integrated Pest Management specialist.
Uri holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Agronomy from Hebrew University and L.L.B. degree from Herzelia IDC. Uri is a member of the Israeli bar.
