Dr. Ulf Gartzke is the CEO of Brainloop.
Between 2004 and 2013, Dr. Gartzke was Director of the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation’s Washington office, which is the political foundation for Germany’s ruling CSU party, and where he was responsible for relations with both the United States and Canada. Before joining the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation, Ulf Gartzke
worked at the World Economic Forum in Geneva, where he was in charge of the Forum’s engagement with the global automotive industry.
Ulf Gartzke studied political science and international relations at the University of Augsburg, Georgetown University, Sciences Po Paris, and holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Dr. Gartzke is also a Visiting Scholar at Georgetown University’s BMW Center for German and European Studies, where he teaches a graduate course on the globalization of the aerospace and defense industry. Ulf Gartzke is a regular commentator on European / international affairs and speaks German, English, French, and Spanish.
