As the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of iYogi, Uday Challu heads a rapidly growing global technology brand that provides on-demand software and technical support to 3+ million customers in 11 countries.
He set up iYogi along with co-founder Vishal Dhar in 2007 with the vision of building the first global consumer services brand from
India. Uday is an entrepreneur at heart, which reflects in his leadership style. Passionate, driven and full of energy, Uday leads the company from the front, constantly challenging existing beliefs and systems, and driving innovation for the company’s success.
His previous entrepreneurial ventures include IQ Resource, a niche outsourcing company with a focus on B2B media which he founded in 2003; Concordia Consulting, a boutique management consulting firm that he set up in 1999; and Quaddro Digital System, his first foray into the tech support space in 1986. He has also held key roles in startup and growth companies including Newgen Software Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Besides iYogi, Uday is also on the board of leading event management and entertainment media company Wizcraft.
An Economics major from Delhi University, Uday has spent 27 years in the IT industry. He is passionate about fast bikes and cars. He spends his time off with the family and loves to play golf and debate about service innovation, politics, cricket, and of course, motors.
