Tyson Jerry is a Canadian clean transportation and energy infrastructure professional specializing in the deployment of low-carbon fueling systems for medium- and heavy-duty transportation. He has worked in the clean and low-carbon transportation sector for nearly two decades and currently leads hydrogen infrastructure and investment initiatives
for one of Canada’s largest energy utilities.
His work focuses on translating climate and decarbonization targets into practical, buildable infrastructure. He is involved across the full project lifecycle, including early-stage market development, business case development, regulatory filings, capital planning, and project delivery. Jerry collaborates with fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers, governments, regulators, and industry partners to advance commercially viable fueling solutions.
His professional scope includes hydrogen, renewable natural gas, compressed natural gas, and battery-electric systems, as well as the policy frameworks and incentive programs that enable adoption. A central aspect of his work involves bridging technical, financial, operational, and policy disciplines to reduce friction between stakeholders and accelerate execution.
Earlier in his career, Jerry gained international attention for holding a Guinness World Record for the longest journey using alternative fuel, an experience that shaped his applied, systems-oriented approach to clean transportation.
