Tsahy Shapsa is a Founding General Partner at Lama Partners, a seed-stage US-Israeli VC firm investing in high-agency Israeli founders building AI-native cyber and IT infrastructure companies that turn expert-heavy enterprise workflows into measurable outcomes. A serial entrepreneur, investor, and go-to-market leader, Tsahy brings deep U.S.
enterprise GTM experience to help founders translate technical insight into buyer urgency, repeatable sales motion, and scalable growth. He has spent more than 15 years building and scaling enterprise technology companies across cybersecurity, cloud, and SaaS.
Before founding Lama Partners, Tsahy was co-founder of CloudLock, a pioneering cloud cybersecurity company acquired by Cisco in 2016. At CloudLock, he built and led the company’s go-to-market organization from inception, spanning sales, marketing, technical services, business development, and strategic partnerships. Following CloudLock’s acquisition, Cisco Cloud Security scaled under his leadership to more than $500M in ARR, 100M+ users, and 30,000+ customers. Earlier in his career, Tsahy held business and technology management roles at Sun Microsystems and Network Appliance, both in the U.S. and internationally. Tsahy is also the founder and organizer of the Boston Cloud Services Meetup and the Boston Amazon Web Services Meetup, helping build early cloud communities in the Boston technology ecosystem. Tsahy holds a double major BA in Computer Science and Philosophy from Tel Aviv University.
