Troy Herbst works at his family's business as a Partner in Herbst Development and Vice President at their rapidly-expanding chain of service stations, Terrible Herbst. Offering everything from light maintenance, oil changes, and car washes to delicious snacks for the road and extravagant themed entertainment experiences at their extensive
convenience plazas, Terrible Herbst service stations are becoming a staple of travel in the Southwest for every family on the road. Troy Herbst is proud to be a part of this home-grown American company, and is dedicated to the success of the entire team at Terrible Herbst.
As an enthusiastic off road racer himself, Troy understands the need for great service and convenience to compliment the excitement of the open road. Troy has been racing for almost four decades, since he was a young boy and his father introduced him to the sport. Today, Troy's own son races as well. and the pair build their own vehicles at the Terrible Herbst motor stores and compete in SCORE International races.
Knowing how much his community has given him, Troy Herbst is also a dedicated philanthropist who works to give back as much as possible to the people of Nevada, and of Baja, Mexico where Troy often races. From bike donation programs and toy drives, to providing safe spaces for troubled teens,, to supporting Mexican orphanages, Troy looks to lift up the local community in every way that he and Terrible Herbst can.
