Travis Kell is an entrepreneur, investor and former financial services professional. He is the Co-Founder, COO and CFO of Metropolis Technologies, Inc.
Prior to founding Metropolis, Travis was in the financial services industry in New York with a focus on private investments. Most recently, he was a senior business development professional at
Winton Group. Winton is a $30 billion computer-driven global investment management and data science company. Previously, Travis was a Director at BlackRock Alternative Advisors where he led the New York-based Product Strategy team responsible for $5 billion of client assets invested across a range of hedge fund strategies. His primary focus was to develop and structure customized portfolio solutions with sophisticated investors across the U.S. and Canada. During his tenure with BlackRock, Travis was involved in negotiating and structuring several portfolios of hedge funds and opportunistic co-investments totaling $3 billion.
His career began as an Analyst in 2006 at Quellos Group in Seattle. Quellos was a boutique alternative investment management firm that was acquired by BlackRock in 2007 to create the firm’s $25 billion global hedge fund solutions platform.
