Torry Pedersen is the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Verdens Gang AS, Norway's most widely circulated news organization. He began his career as a journalist in Fredrikstad Blad in 1981, and he now has more than 30 years of journalism and publishing experience. Pedersen has served as the Managing Editor of VG, the Editor in Chief/Publisher of
VG Multimedia AS, the CEO of Verdens Gang AS, and the CEO and Editor in Chief of Verdens Gang AS since 2011. He is now a member of the Schibsted ASA board of directors. Pedersen is 57 years old and possesses a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Norwegian School of Management (previously Bedriftskonomisk Institutt) in Oslo. In Norway, he received the "Chief Editor of the Year Award," and Verdens Gangs won other awards during his tenure as Editor in Chief and CEO.
