Tor serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Pershing Ventures. Before joining Pershing, Tor was Managing Director and Head of Private Credit Group at CDIB Capital from 2020 to 2022. From 2014 to 2020, he was Managing Director of Asia Structured Credit at The Carlyle Group, leading the Carlyle Asia Structured Credit Opportunities Fund which
invested in private transactions financing growing middle-market borrowers such as NBFIs and corporates.
Prior to Carlyle, Tor was a Partner of Northstone Peak focused on structured finance across Asia, a Director at Natixis North America working on structured transactions and warehouse financing for finance companies, hedge funds, alternative asset managers, and REITs. Tor started his career at Nomura Securities, working on ABS and secured financing.
Tor earned his BA in Economics from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.
