Anthony L. Broglio, Jr. Also Known As Tony Broglio joined Lake Capital in 2003 while completing his MBA at the University of Chicago. Prior to attending the University of Chicago, Broglio spent three years as an associate at FMI Capital, the merchant banking and private equity group of FMI Corporation, a consulting firm focused on the infrastructure, engineering, and construction industries. While at FMI Capital, he was involved with the sourcing, analysis, negotiation, and execution of several leveraged buyout, recapitalization, and growth equity transactions in both an advisory and principal capacity. In addition, he helped company management teams evaluate, choose, and achieve strategic objectives.
Prior to FMI Capital, Broglio spent two years as an analyst with the boutique investment banking firm Hanifen, Imhoff Inc., where he helped execute private and public equity and debt offerings, and M&A transactions. In addition to pursuing his MBA at the University of Chicago, Broglio received a BS in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Colorado.
