Tom Werthan is a seasoned finance executive experienced in leading financial operations at public and privately held technology companies in the semiconductor industry. Mr. Werthan comes to Phononic from Solid State Equipment, a leading semiconductor capital equipment company, where as CFO he was a key participant in the successful sale of the
company to Veeco Instruments (NASDAQ: VECO) in 2014.
Previously, Mr. Werthan held the CFO position at Sunlogics and Emcore, where he was a key participant in the company’s Initial Public Offering in 1997. Mr. Werthan has also held finance and accounting leadership positions at Audio Visual Labs, and has public accounting experience at Ernst & Young.
