Mr. Wasserman is a Managing Director of HPS. At HPS, Mr. Wasserman focuses primarily on investments in communications, IT and media.
Prior to joining HPS in 2008, Mr. Wasserman was a Managing Director with Bear Stearns. He currently serves as chairman of the board for Bridgevine, Inc. and previously held the same role for GamerDNA Media.
Additionally, Mr. Wasserman is currently an active member of the boards of Zakiris (a joint venture with Cirque du Soleil), Hibernia Atlantic, OnePhone AB, LiveGamer, Bridgevine and MTM Technologies. Previously, Mr. Wasserman served as a board member or observer for SAVVIS, Origin Digital, the Gospel Music Channel and Vivid Logic, each of which was successfully exited.
Previously, Mr. Wasserman worked in the Corporate Development group at 360Networks, a global telecommunications service provider.
Mr. Wasserman began his career as an investment banking analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and also served as an associate with the private equity fund, Charterhouse Group International.
Mr. Wasserman received a BA in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, graduating with distinction.
