Tom Schwarz, partner, possesses seed and early stage investment and corporate experience. Tom was co-founder, general partner of Life Sciences Partners, a biotech venture capital fund with offices in Amsterdam, Munich and Boston, where he focused on early stage investments in the Benelux. Tom has served on the supervisory boards of many biotech
companies and is a board member for Biopartner Start-up Ventures, and a former member of the EVCA High Tech Committee. In 1997, Tom sold U-Gene Research, a company he spun-out of the University of Utrecht, to Kendle, a leading US clinical research organization. Tom started his career at Interpharm, one of the largest pharmaceutical wholesalers in the Netherlands. He was trained as a pharmacist at the University of Utrecht.
