Tom Rowlands-Rees is responsible for managing the Energy Smart Technologies team at Bloomberg New Energy Finance, which covers areas such as smart grid, energy storage and energy efficiency. His work in the role has included in-depth research on LED lighting, heat pumps, superconductors, electrochromic windows as well as analysis of the business
models, financing structures and policies driving the deployment of those technologies. Prior to joining Bloomberg New Energy Finance Tom was completing his PhD in Physics at Oxford University.
