Tom Richards is vice president of Sales for vAuto. In this role, he leads the company’s East and West sales divisions, providing management, mentoring and strategic direction to enable each division’s team members to meet their goals for business development, growth and dealer satisfaction.
Tom also leads vAuto’s efforts to align its Sales and
Performance Management objectives to ensure a satisfying and seamless transition for new vAuto dealers. As one of vAuto’s first employees, Tom has played an instrumental role in creating and formalizing the company’s sales strategy and structure.
Prior to vAuto, Tom held national sales management and support positions for leading automotive technology companies, and served five years as an F&I director and general sales manager at franchised and independent dealerships.
Tom graduated summa cum laude from Utah State University with degrees in marketing and finance.
