With more than 15 years experience in the educational technology market, Tom Motter was most recently a Partner and Senior Vice President at EveryPenny, LLC, an innovative web-based fundraising solution built for K-12 schools that provides complete administrative control over fundraising activities and significantly enhances a school’s ability to
raise money.
Prior to EveryPenny, he was the President and Chief Operating Officer at Blackboard Connect, Inc., a division of Blackboard, Inc., and the President of Connect-Ed, which served 20% of the US Education market with $45M in annual revenue prior to its acquisition by Blackboard in 2008.
Mr. Motter received his MBA in Information Technology and Marketing from the University of California at Irvine. A former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger who served in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star and two Air Medals, he is a member of the Seal Beach Volunteers in Policing in Seal Beach, CA.
