Tom Halliday is the Vice President of Operations for Aveda Transportation and Energy Services, US Operations and is responsible for the organization’s daily U.S. Operations for 6 terminals strategically located in major plays across Oklahoma, Texas, North Dakota, Pennsylvania and Florida. Tom joined Aveda in Q2-16 to bring more than 4 decades of
oilfield services experience to the Operations team. Additional responsibilities include leadership of shared services functions including Business Development, HSE, Human Resources and DOT Compliance.
Prior to joining the Aveda team, his career spanned leadership roles involving consulting with Shell Oil, drilling with Nabors and Baker Hughes, and completions with Mobley Company and Dresser Magcobar. He brings an analytical mindset for process engineering and the ability to lead change in operational environments including financial efficiency and growth, growth of performance cultures, and a personal commitment to the success of the organization.
With his roles at Baker Hughes and Nabors Drilling covering 30 years, he developed a range of skills in positions including Marketing and Contracts, District and Regional Manager roles across a range of functions within the drilling environment, ending as a Vice President of Operations for the Southern Division, providing him with a wealth of experience to support Aveda’s operations in those areas.
Tom is a team-focused leader and combines marketing and business development with operational service quality supported by best in class safety and people strategies to elevate Aveda’s reputation among clients, employees, and the communities where Aveda works, and their employees live.
