Tom has served as the SPYRUS Chief Financial Officer since January 2015. Prior to his current role, Tom spent three years as the company’s Chief Strategy Officer.
Tom has been successfully founding, growing, restructuring, advising, merging and selling enterprises in the fields of telecommunications, technology, wine and financial services for
over 25 years. Most recent to his role with SPYRUS, Tom served as the Chief Financial Officer at Active Mind Technology where Tom played an instrumental role in the corporate development and financing activities for the launch of GameGolf (www.gamegolf.com).
Tom’s foundational business skills are in the area of finance and valuations. He worked for four years in the financial services consulting practice of KPMG Peat Marwick in San Francisco, where, as a manager, he was responsible for the development of several of the firm’s proprietary valuation and asset/liability management models. Tom obtained his CPA while at KPMG (currently expired) and is a graduate of Sonoma State University with a degree in Computer Science.
