Tom focuses primarily on Morehead’s fund operations, investment execution and portfolio company relations. Prior to joining Morehead, Tom was a partner with McGuireWoods where he represented private funds and their portfolio companies. His experience includes most aspects of structuring, financing and operating private investment funds and
portfolio investments in a wide variety of business operations, including restaurant chains, franchisors and franchisees.
Tom received his Master’s of Business Administration and law degrees from Villanova University and his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University. Tom and his wife remain active in the community with their four young children. Tom has served as a board member and general counsel of the Charlotte Regional Partnership, board member of the Charlotte Regional Sports Commission and to other community organizations.
