Tom Diamond is President and co-founder of Remote Sensing Metrics, with day-to-day management and operational control over all aspects of RS Metrics’ business, including driving product direction and development, strategic alliances, and scaling the sales, marketing and support organizations.Tom’s extensive experience as a strategic advisor to
corporate managers and institutional investors, operational experience, and background in engineering and product development, provide a deep understanding of how technology and data-driven analysis can benefit business decision-making.
Prior to RS Metrics, Tom was a Director with Stax, Inc., a corporate and investor strategy consulting firm, where he led and managed relationships for eight years with major corporations, leveraged buyout firms and their portfolio companies, and hedge fund clients. His work often revolved around quantifying and forecasting behaviors of customers and markets to support major decisions for growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and public equities trading.
Previously, Tom was co-founder of Fulcrum Systems, an enterprise software company using massive data sets for design and ongoing optimization of complex corporate telecommunication networks, where he served as Vice President of Marketing. Fulcrum was acquired in 2003 by a telecom carrier-focused channel partner looking to expand its offering to enterprise clients. Tom began his career as a design engineer for mobile communications devices, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
