Todd Stephenson has served as Vice President, Geoscience Technology since September 2013 and is responsible for the research and development, technical service, and organizational capability of the geophysical, geological, and petrophysical functions at Chesapeake Energy. Previously, his roles at Chesapeake include Vice President-Geoscience,
Northern Division and Director of New Ventures.
Prior to joining Chesapeake, Mr. Stephenson was the Chief Geoscientist for BP North America (Canada & L48 Onshore) from 2005-2010. He also served as Geoscience Technology Manager for BP and an exploration geologist in a variety of U.S. and international assignments for Amoco Production Company.
He holds an M.S. degree from the University of Cincinnati and a B.S. degree in geology from Ohio University.
