Toby is the CTO at CisLunar Industries. He has an Undergraduate Masters degree in Chemistry (MChem Hons), undertaking practical and industrial experience in the areas of advanced materials science (to synthesise a ternary computer memory storage material) and coatings. He has a Masters degree in Space Engineering, during which he was provided
scholarships to attend three highly-competitive ESA courses in Concurrent Design (ESA-ESEC), Earth Observation (ESA-ESRIN) and mission design (ESA-Alpbach). With practical industrial experience in mechanical engineering on the world’s first ‘RemoveDEBRIS’ Mission at the Surrey Space Centre (launched from the ISS, April 2018), he has learned the practices involved with delivering flight hardware in Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd and Airbus cleanroom environments. This experience follows from concept design and manufacture, all the way to Assembly, Integration and Testing. He provides CisLunar Industries S.A. both a scientific and engineering perspective in solving process challenges.
