Tim holds a BSc in Geology and postgraduate qualifications in Information Technology and Applied Finance. Tim has over 20 years’ experience in the utilities sector covering water, electricity and gas and currently holds the position of Managing Director for Isle in Asia Pacific.
In the last nine years Tim has been working in the area of smart
grid bringing a deep level of domain expertise, a full understanding of enterprise system life cycles for ICT and a solid understanding of developing markets such as China and Japan as well as traditional markets such as Australia and New Zealand. More recently Tim has been working for a large water utility in their Intelligent Network program.
Previously he has worked for energy retailers such as AGL, Origin, Singapore Power, Taipower and China Light and Power, pure distribution companies such as AusNet, and pure service providers such as VectorAMS in NZ.
He has also had the opportunity to build knowledge of new markets such as Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, and China. He is now bringing innovation to the water sector through his role at Isle.
