Tim, who joined Ampersand in 1990 after serving as President of Alcan Aluminum’s U.S. subsidiary, served as a General Partner for three years. Prior to rejoining Ampersand as a Senior Advisor in 2007, Tim served as Chairman, President and CEO of John H. Harland Co., a $1B NYSE company, before selling it to MacAndrews and Forbes.
He holds a B.S.
in Economics from Dalhousie University, an M.S. in Marketing from the University of Lancaster and attended Harvard’s Advanced Management Program.
