Dr. Schmidt has demonstrated successful pharmaceutical operating and management experience with emphasis on product development, technical operations and international project management with over 15 years International Industrial experience.
Prior to joining EffRx, Dr. Schmidt held positions of increasing responsibility in several major
pharmaceutical companies, including Mepha Ltd/Ratiopharm, and Temmler Werke Holding GmbH where he last served as Head of Corporate R&D. He is also a co-founder and was a principal in a joint venture pharmaceutical development company in Casablanca/Morocco. Dr. Schmidt graduated as pharmacist from Julius-Maximilian University in Würzburg, Germany, obtained his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical technology from Basel University, Switzerland and holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School, Madrid.
