With over 20 years in design I have experienced many areas of the creative industry. After completing my college education my first role was as a technical illustrator and designer for an Oxford based studio primarily working for educational publishers. My technical background has led to a methodical and structured approach to design which I have

found transfers well to the new media/online environment. It was in 1998 that my involvement with web technologies began.

During my career to date I have had the opportunity to work on print based and online projects for many major names such as Kodak, Sky Sports, ITV’s CD:UK, Oxfam, Oxford University Press, Readers Digest, Transport for London, Birmingham Tourism and Bristol City Council.

Throughout my career I have worked with Adobe (and then Macromedia) products fomr very early versions. I have evolved with each new release and am currently operating the full Creative Clous Suite; including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash and Bridge. And for the past five or so years I've been working along side developers, using Microsoft Visual Studio. For office administration tasks I'm proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

I have exceptional knowledge of HTML and CSS and more recently have begun making use of HTML5 and CSS3 in projects. I have a good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation and cross browser, cross platform and multi-device compatibility. Which each new web project being created as a fully responsive solution.

I am equally at home on either Mac or PC and have regular access to both. My personal strengths include self-motivation, good communication skills and I consider myself to have a generally likeable personality. I have built strong relationships with my clients regularly receive positive feedback.
