For a little more than two decades now I have had an incredible string of projects with start ups and even Google. My first job came from leaving Hollywood where I was networking computers to start at an early ISP, and a few years after that I was a leader in Flash before anyone even knew about it. There have been hopeless projects where I got an
MVP running and in one case, literally hours before it was shown live on the Today Show. My ability to see through the "fog of war" has made me a very popular hired gun to get projects done. In one case if my code was bad, the city of San Diego would have lost power.
The logical progression was to begin leading and mentoring and along the way people I mentored followed me from project to project to be part of the things I was working on. I have managed multiple projects for FitBit, Bose, Kia/Hyundai, RedBull, and AT&T. A whole new generation of user interfaces for ad planning on Google Ads I built the prototypes for by myself while I saw the platform migration of a financial service provider that makes giftcards for the world's largest retailer in addition to handling millions of citizens' ability to get COVID relief funds.
I bring to the table a clarity of vision and technology architecture to build smart, lean, and fast. Focusing on results and not chasing trends for the sake of saying you do is going to get your project completed. It is one of the reasons I often find myself on skunkworks teams dreaming up the next generation of product offerings for many clients.
