Tim Howes is the chief technology officer of ClearStory Data, a provider of business solutions for users to discover, analyze, and consume data at scale from different data sources. He is also a co-founder and the executive chairman of Know Yourself. Previously, he was a vice president at Yahoo!.
Howes was a director at Blue Coat Systems from 2005 to 2010. Before that, he co-founded and served as the chief technology officer of Opsware. He has also worked at Homestead Technologies, AOL, and Netscape.
Howes holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, and master’s degree and PhD in computer science and engineering from the University of Michigan.
Howes is based in San Francisco, California, United States.
