Tim Harris previously served as Member of Parliament and Shadow Minister of Finance for the Democratic Alliance (DA).
He was the MP for Cape Town's "Good Hope" constituency and the Parliamentary Counsellor to Lindiwe Mazibuko, the Leader of the Opposition.
He has a BA in English Literature and a Masters in Economics from the
University of Cape Town. After a stint in investment banking he joined the DA’s political staff where he worked on five election campaigns.
Tim has also served as the Vice President for Africa on the Bureau of Liberal International, the global group of liberal parties, and currently sits on the board of SiliconCape, Cape Town's technology promotion initiative.
