Tim Coffield

Association, the Virginia Employment Lawyers Association, and the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association. Tim Coffield is an attorney who practices in North Carolina and Virginia. He founded his firm, Coffield PLC, in 2012.

Tim concentrates his practice on various areas of law, such as employment and civil rights law, business and estate planning, and contract disputes. He has handled numerous cases in state and federal courts. Recently, he was a co-class counsel in a class action lawsuit involving employees of a restaurant chain known as Panera Bread Co. The case resulted in a multi-million dollar judgment for the class members. In another case, Tim Coffield was able to successfully argue before a panel of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. He was able to successfully overturn a ruling in a civil rights case.

Tim was able to obtain a verdict in favor of the class members in a case under the Americans With Disabilities Act. He was able to successfully argue before a panel of the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. This case resulted in a positive result for the class members.

Tim Coffield started his firm Coffield PLC with the goal of establishing a practice that is focused on providing high-quality legal services to his clients. He realized that there are many different legal issues that each individual and business has. He is dedicated to developing effective strategies for his clients.

Tim Coffield practiced natural resources and environmental law before he graduated from law school. He worked on various environmental issues, such as clean water laws. He was a former Law Clerk for Trout Unlimited, where he handled various regulatory and legal matters. During his time with the organization, he also produced various memos on various subjects, such as the regulation of gas pipelines.

He has also worked with various environmental groups to develop effective strategies for their members. Since the firm's inception, Coffield PLC has been mainly focused on providing legal services to employees.

Tim Coffield is currently affiliated with various professional organizations, such as the National Employment Lawyers and the Virginia Employment Lawyers. Tim is most proud of his work with Bert and Dennis Popham of the Popham Law Firm. Together, they were able to serve as class counsel in a case involving the employment equity of employees of a restaurant chain known as Panera Bread Co.

Tim Coffield obtained his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from North Carolina State. He also studied linguistics and occasionally played left field for the university's baseball team. After graduating from university, he worked as a wilderness guide and taught writing courses at the University of Montana. In 2011, Tim earned his JD from Virginia School of Law. He currently lives in the city of Charlottesville.
